Your New Role Join the Princess Alexandra Hospital Acute Care Team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and provide advanced clinical leadership, expert consultancy and contemporary mental health nursing care in a community setting. Working collaboratively with the Consultant Psychiatrist, Team Leader, Senior Allied Health Practitioner and broader multidisciplinary team, you will support safe, high-quality and recovery-focused outcomes for consumers.
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning, risk management and nursing care.
• Act as a clinical expert and resource for staff, consumers, carers and stakeholders.
• Lead quality improvement, clinical redesign and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support effective collaboration across GPs, NGOs and government services. About You We are looking for an experienced mental health nursing professional who brings advanced clinical knowledge, strong leadership capability and a genuine commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred care.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in contemporary mental health nursing.
• Solid clinical judgement, critical thinking and complex decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
