Role Description We’re looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance Officer to support YAKKA Training on a contract basis. This is a remote role suited to someone who knows the RTO space, understands compliance and can work independently without needing to be micromanaged. The role will include reviewing and maintaining our compliance systems, policies and procedures, conducting internal audits, reviewing training and assessment documentation and identifying areas that need improvement. You’ll work directly with management and our training team to make sure we remain compliant, organised and ready for growth. We’re looking for someone who can identify an issue,



explain it clearly and, importantly, help us fix it — not just point it out. What We’re Looking For
* Robust understanding of RTO compliance and the current regulatory requirements and standards.
* Experience in quality assurance, compliance or governance within the VET/RTO sector.
* Ability to conduct internal audits and review training and assessment practices and documentation.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to identify compliance risks before they become bigger issues.
* Clear and practical communication skills — able to work well with trainers, management and external stakeholders.
* Organised, reliable and comfortable working independently in a remote role.
* Relevant qualifications in VET, compliance, quality management or a related area will be well regarded.
* Experience within construction, civil or rail training would be an advantage. We’re a growing RTO, so we’re looking for someone practical who can help strengthen our systems as we grow, without overcomplicating things.
