Role Description The Diesel Mechanic role is a full-time, in office position based in Brisbane, QLD. The Diesel Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems on heavy foundation and construction equipment. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing required service documentation, and ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use on project sites.



The role also involves collaborating with site supervisors and operators to plan maintenance schedules, responding to urgent breakdowns, and adhering to company safety standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Diesel Mechanics and working with Heavy Equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance.
• Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) is desirable.
• Experience in construction or foundation engineering environments is advantageous.
• Ability to read technical manuals, use diagnostic tools, and maintain accurate service records.
• Commitment to safety, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively on site and within a team.
