About Us

The Cruising Yacht Club of WA, located on the beautiful Rockingham waterfront, offers a welcoming hospitality environment with stunning ocean views.

With a busy Members' Bar, Restaurant and Function Facilities, we pride ourselves on delivering great service and memorable experiences to our members and guests.

We are currently seeking an experienced Bar Manager and Bar Staff member to join our friendly Food & Beverage team.

About the Roles

Bar Manager

Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily bar and restaurant operations, supporting the team and ensuring exceptional service standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Leading and supervising Front of House staff.

- Managing stocktakes, beverage ordering and inventory.

- Assisting with rostering and staff training.

- Overseeing opening, closing and cash reconciliation.

- Supporting functions and events.

- Maintaining high operational and service standards.

What You'll Bring:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a hospitality management position (essential).

- Strong leadership and organisational skills.

- Current WA Approved Manager's Licence.

- A positive, professional and hands-on approach.

- Excellent knowledge of bar and restaurant operations.

Bar Staff

As part of our Front of House team, you will deliver friendly and professional service across our bar, restaurant and functions.





What You'll Be Doing:

- Preparing and serving beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.

- Providing excellent customer service.

- Supporting restaurant and function service.

- Maintaining clean, organised and fully stocked bar areas.

- Working alongside the team to deliver smooth and efficient service.

What You'll Bring:

- Minimum 1 year's experience in a bar or similar hospitality role (essential).

- Good beverage knowledge and customer service skills.

- A friendly, energetic and professional attitude.

- Current WA RSA Certificate.

- Reliability and a strong team spirit.

Eligibility

- Full Australian working rights.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

- Current WA RSA Certificate.

- WA Approved Manager's Licence required for the Bar Manager position.
