GLAICA Ltd are seeking reliable, caring and hardworking Cleaning Staff to join our team at a residential aged-care facility.

Our staff play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming setting for our elderly residents.

Key responsibilities include:

Cleaning Staff

We are looking for dedicated cleaning staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining areas, corridors and staff facilities.

- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces.

- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas.

- Following infection-prevention and control procedures.

- Correctly using cleaning chemicals, equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Handling waste safely and according to facility procedures.

- Reporting maintenance, safety or hygiene issues to management.

- Respecting residents' privacy, dignity and personal belongings.

- Expected to work weekend shifts.

Previous cleaning experience, particularly in aged care, healthcare, hospitals, or other regulated environments, is highly regarded.
