- Your own dedicated, experienced processing team to support you.
- The flexibility and convenience of working from home.
- All necessary equipment provided.
- A stable, full-time position.
- Join an award-winning team with an excellent industry reputation.
- Work for a compliant and ethical company committed to doing the right thing for our clients.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The kind of people who are successful in our business have the following attributes:
- A proven track record in the credit area of an Australian mortgage brokerage, with a minimum of 12 months’ experience. Must have a comprehensive understanding of credit assessment, lending products, and product features, and be willing to assess options across all 60+ lenders on our panel rather than relying solely on familiar or preferred lenders.
- The ability to interpret and apply credit policies and use debt servicing calculators across 60+ lenders, including proficiency in Quickli.
- A strong command of business English, with a transparent, articulate, professional, and friendly telephone manner.
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients, lenders, and our onshore and offshore teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, particularly in professional email correspondence. Must be able to write transparent, well-structured,
grammatically correct emails; respond confidently and professionally to client and team enquiries; communicate information accurately and courteously; and proofread emails for spelling, punctuation, tone, and clarity before sending.
- The ability and willingness to follow established, process-mapped workflows and procedures to ensure tasks are completed accurately and consistently, rather than taking shortcuts or adopting unauthorised approaches.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise competing tasks, and manage workloads effectively in a busy, high-volume mortgage brokerage.
- The confidence and knowledge to answer clients’ questions about the lending products recommended by the broker.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy across all aspects of the role.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- A highly motivated and professional approach, including maintaining a professional appearance and presentation during online client meetings while working remotely.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to work.
- Initiative, commitment, care, and integrity, reflecting the core values of our company.
- The ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure in a rapid-paced environment.
- A positive, can-do attitude, a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities, and a strong team-player mentality, with high levels of motivation and integrity.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights and current residence in Australia.
This position is ideal for an experienced mortgage broker looking for a career change or someone currently working as a Credit Manager or Parabroker within an Australian mortgage brokerage.
Applicants must have strong credit assessment skills and a comprehensive understanding of bank lending policies and debt servicing calculators. Experience using Quickli is desirable.
Important eligibility requirements: This position is only open to experienced candidates with unrestricted Australian working rights who are currently based in Australia. Applicants who are new to the industry, based offshore, or working on temporary visas will not be considered. Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements.
DUTIES

- Ensure all client files are 100% compliant with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Review the living expense assessments and cash flow analyses completed by our Processing team to ensure they are accurate and complete, and discuss these with clients as required.
- Prepare compliance documents tailored to each client’s individual circumstances. We do not use generic templates.
