Korimco Toys and Nuby Australia are a leading suppliers of toys and baby products to the Australian retail market. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations at our Dandenong South facility.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage the day-to-day warehouse operations, lead and develop the team, and ensure orders are processed accurately and dispatched efficiently. The successful candidate will take ownership of warehouse performance, inventory management, workplace safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
- Coordinate picking, packing and dispatch to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Oversee container unloading, receipting and stock put-away.
- Manage inventory accuracy and ensure regular stock checks are completed.
- Coordinate freight bookings and ensure orders are entered into the freight system correctly.
- Ensure pallets and consignments are prepared securely and efficiently for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity and efficiency.
- Manage warehouse resources and workflow to meet business requirements.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of stock movements and customer orders.
- Report back to the business on the warehouse KPI's
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a 2IC or managing or supervising warehouse operations.
- A current forklift licence.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A hands-on approach and a strong work ethic.
- Good computer skills and experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
- A strong focus on accuracy, productivity and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to work independently, solve problems and take ownership of outcomes.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and operational performance.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
