We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Production Machine Cleaner to join our team at a food manufacturing site in Bayswater.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping their workplace clean, understands the importance of hygiene, and is eager to learn. Previous industrial cleaning or food manufacturing experience is an advantage but is not essential. We are happy to consider candidates with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of production equipment and surrounding work areas to ensure the site meets food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise production machinery, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow cleaning procedures and food safety requirements.
- Ensure all equipment and production areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely,
following training and instructions.
- Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
