About the Role ~ Where Your Skills Make a Difference

As a Registered Nurse at GLAICA Ltd, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding clinical care while helping residents maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.

You’ll combine your clinical expertise with compassionate leadership, working collaboratively with residents, families and a dedicated multidisciplinary team to create a positive and supportive care environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care tailored to each resident’s individual needs.

- Leading, mentoring and supporting Team Leaders, Physiotherapy Aides and Personal Care Workers.

- Coordinating clinical assessments, care planning and medication management.

- Recognising and responding confidently to clinical changes and emergencies.

- Supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Care Manager to maintain high clinical standards and best-practice care.

- Acting as Senior First Aid Officer and Chief Fire Warden while on duty.

- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and professional standards.

- Championing a culture of dignity, respect, safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Are You the Nurse ~ We’re Looking For?

You’re a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who takes pride in delivering high-quality care.



You communicate with confidence, enjoy working as part of a team and understand the importance of leading by example.

You’ll bring:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

- At least one year of post-registration nursing experience.

- A current CPR certificate.

- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.

- Sound clinical knowledge and strong assessment and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.

- Strong organisational skills and effective time management.

- Competence in computer systems and clinical documentation.

- A genuine commitment to resident-centred care, dignity and respect.

It’s an Advantage, But Not Essential

We’d also love to hear from you if you have:

- Previous experience in residential aged care.

- Postgraduate qualifications in aged care or a related discipline.

- Knowledge of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) funding model.
