Christ Church Grammar School is seeking a passionate and engaging Music Teacher to join our Preparatory School team on a full-time fixed-term basis for 2027 and Semester 1, 2028 (parental leave cover). This is a rewarding opportunity to teach Music to students in Years 3 to 6, direct ensembles and choirs, and contribute to a vibrant co-curricular music program within a collaborative and highly regarded Arts environment.

Working closely with the Preparatory School and Music Department teams, you will help students develop their musical skills, creativity, confidence and performance experience while making a meaningful contribution to the School’s dynamic Arts program.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

- Teach Music to students in Years 3-6
- Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that foster a love of music
- Lead and support ensembles, choirs and performance opportunities
- Assess and monitor student learning and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and the wider Music program
- Actively participate in the co-curricular and community life of the School
