About the Role:
Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park are seeking a passionate and growth driven Senior Sales Manager to join our team!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead, mentor and develop the Conference & Events Sales and Event Planning teams, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and commercially focused culture.
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to the Sales Executive, ensuring a results-driven and commercially focused approach to conference and events sales, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering revenue growth
- Drive achievement of the annual Conference & Events revenue budget across accommodation, venue hire, food & beverage and audio visual revenue streams
- Drive performance across conference, events, corporate and group business,
ensuring optimal yield management, business mix, profitability and flow-through from sales strategy to operational execution
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximise performance across the accounts assigned to this position
- Identify and secure current business opportunities while strengthening long-term relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders
- Collaborate across Commercial, Revenue and Operational teams to optimise demand, conversion, pricing strategy and the delivery of exceptional client experiences.
- This role focuses on the Hotel’s key market segments of conferences, events, groups and corporate however may be involved in strategy across other market segments and encouraged to identify opportunities to maximize revenue across the entire complex.
