• Carrying out all 12/24-volt electrical repairs and undertaking routine PM and upgrade improvements
• Ensuring all electrical repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets.
• Diagnostics fault finding on electrical systems.
• Willing to assist other trades on site while working cohesively within a team to reach a common goal.
• Working with Emeco customers to meet company objectives. What We’ll Need From You
• Must have full working rights withing Australia
• Hold a current Australian Drivers licence.
• Relevant nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate
• Nationally recognised Air Conditioning licence and High-Risk Licence (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
• Proven diagnostic and trouble shooting ability with respect to heavy earth moving equipment electrical and wiring systems. Fleet Overview
• Excavators: Liebherr 9400, Hitachi EX2600, EX1900, EX900-6, Komatsu PC1250, CAT 374
• Trucks: CAT 789, 785, 777 & 773, Hitachi EH3500
• Dozers: CAT D10T & D10T2
• Loaders: CAT 992 & 992G
• Graders: CAT 16M & 18M The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide a current National Police Check.
