Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Caulker role based in Melbourne, VIC. The Caulker will prepare and seal joints, gaps, and interfaces in precast panels, facades, expansion joints, wet areas, and internal finishes using appropriate caulking materials and tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include surface preparation, application of sealants, waterproofing details, and ensuring clean, accurate finishes that meet project specifications and compliance standards. The role involves working within construction programs, coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.



The Caulker will be expected to follow company quality processes, adhere to OH&S; requirements, and contribute to reliable delivery on commercial and high-end residential projects. Qualifications
• Practical experience in related trades such as masonry, with solid skills in preparing substrates and understanding building interfaces.
• Competence in working at height, including use of scaffolding, EWP, and fall protection systems, with a strong safety focus.
• Skills in waterproofing applications, including detailing around joints, penetrations, and wet areas to prevent water ingress.
• Experience with external building envelopes, including siding and facade systems, and coordinating caulking with other cladding elements.
• Knowledge of coatings and sealant systems, including compatible primers, finishing products, and commercial-grade materials.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow site instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, consistent workmanship, and pride in clean, high-quality finishes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with site teams, supervisors, and other trades.
• Relevant construction or trade qualifications, White Card, and any required tickets (e.g., EWP, Working at Heights) are highly regarded.
• Previous experience in caulking or sealing on commercial or high-end residential projects is an advantage.
