Role Description This is a full-time in office role in Adelaide for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for machine operation, machining, milling, machinery, and quality control. The CNC Machinist will also be responsible for ensuring that products meet customer requirements, adhering to health & safety requirements, and maintaining the machines used for production. Qualifications
• Experience in machine operation, machining, milling, and quality control
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with CNC machine centres and or lathes milling machines
• Proficient in the use of measurement instruments such as micrometers, dial gauges, and vernier calipers
• Experience in quality control and inspection of machined parts
• Experience with CNC programming and Mazak control systems
• Knowledge of materials such as aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
• Certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
