Minimum 1–2 years in Australian migration law Join Our Growing Immigration Law Team Global Vision Migration Lawyers is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Immigration Lawyer to join our expanding Melbourne team. We are looking for an Australian-admitted lawyer who is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with practical experience in Australian immigration law, particularly employer-sponsored visa applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual legal professional looking to build their career within a supportive and growing immigration law firm.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional immigration legal advice to Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking clients.
• Manage Australian visa applications, particularly Subclasses 407, 482, 494 and 186.
• Prepare visa applications, nomination submissions, supporting documentation and legal correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, employers and relevant authorities in Mandarin and English.
• Provide advice on employer sponsorship requirements and skilled migration pathways.
• Stay informed about changes to Australian immigration legislation, regulations and policies.




• Maintain accurate client files and ensure compliance with professional and ethical obligations.

Requirements:
• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills – essential.
• Admitted to practise law in Australia, with eligibility to hold an appropriate Australian practising certificate.
• Minimum 1–2 years of practical experience in Australian migration law.
• Demonstrated experience handling employer-sponsored visa subclasses 407, 482, 494 and 186.
• Strong understanding of Australian immigration legislation and visa application processes.
• Excellent drafting, communication and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively with a legal team.
