Trainee Consignment Specialist Sydney | Full Time | Hybrid / RetroRides is looking for an ambitious Trainee Consignment Specialist to join our growing national consignment team. This is an entry-level chance for someone who genuinely loves performance, collector and classic cars and wants to build a career in automotive sales. You don’t need years of industry experience. What we do want is someone who is confident, proactive, hungry to learn and willing to pick up the phone and create opportunities. You’ll be trained to identify potential sellers, approach owners and dealers, build relationships and secure quality vehicles for the RetroRides auction platform. You’ll learn how to:
• Source performance, collector and classic vehicles
• Prospect for sellers by phone, email and social media
• Build relationships with collectors, dealers and enthusiasts
• Research vehicles, values and market trends
• Manage leads and follow-up
• Guide sellers through the consignment process
• Build your own network and sales pipeline We’re looking for someone who:
• Genuinely loves cars
• Is confident speaking to people
• Is comfortable making outbound calls
• Has strong natural communication skills
• Is persistent and good at following up
• Is motivated by targets and commission
• Wants to build a long-term career in automotive sales
• Is organised, energetic and willing to learn Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, dealerships or automotive is helpful, but not essential. Package $60,000 base + superannuation + uncapped commission High performers can earn significantly more through our uncapped commission structure.
