Our Queanbeyan Windows & Doors branch provides aluminium windows and doors to the residential and commercial construction markets. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Sales Representative to join our Queanbeyan team. This isn’t simply an account-management role. We are looking for someone who is hungry to win new business, enjoys getting out into the market and is prepared to actively pursue new opportunities. You will develop relationships with builders, developers and construction professionals across Queanbeyan and the broader Canberra region, while also supporting and growing our existing customer base. The Role
• Actively identify, pursue and win new residential and commercial work across Queanbeyan and the broader Canberra region.
• Build a solid pipeline of new customers, projects and opportunities.
• Get out into the market and develop relationships with builders, developers and other key industry contacts.
• Follow up leads, tenders and opportunities with urgency and persistence.
• Develop existing customer relationships while continually looking for opportunities to grow our market presence.
• Understand customer requirements, plans and specifications and work with the estimating and operational teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Negotiate professionally and follow opportunities through from initial contact to order.
• Maintain regular contact with customers throughout the sales process.
• Work closely with the Queanbeyan branch team to ensure commitments made to customers can be delivered. The Applicant
• Has a genuine hunger for sales and enjoys hunting for new business rather than waiting for work to come through the door.
• Is self-motivated, persistent and comfortable approaching prospective customers.
• Can build strong,



long-term relationships while remaining commercially focused.
• Has experience in the building, construction, windows and doors, building products or a related industry. Relevant industry experience would be highly regarded.
• Can understand plans, specifications and construction requirements.
• Has strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Is organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities and priorities.
• Takes ownership of their sales pipeline and follows opportunities through.
• Works well as part of a branch team and communicates effectively with estimating, operations and management.
