About us
Truflo Pumps is an Australian family-owned manufacturer of mine dewatering equipment. Our Bathurst team builds pumping equipment used across the mining industry, bringing together mechanical assembly, electrical systems and engineering. What you’ll be doing Working alongside experienced team members, you’ll learn how to fit, connect and test the electrical components used in our pump equipment. Your work will include:
• Fitting components such as batteries, lights, sensors and control panels.
• Preparing, connecting and securing wiring and cables.
• Building and installing wiring harnesses.
• Following drawings and step-by-step assembly instructions, with guidance as you learn.
• Helping test completed assemblies and find connection or component issues.
• Assisting with pump assembly and other practical workshop tasks.
• Keeping your work safe, tidy and to a high standard. As your skills develop, there will be opportunities to learn more about our pump control systems and fault-finding processes. What we’re looking for You don’t need to arrive knowing how to do everything. We’re looking for someone who:
• Has an interest in electronics, wiring or how equipment works.
• Enjoys practical tasks and working with their hands.
• Takes care with details and wants to get things right.
• Can follow instructions and ask questions when unsure.
• Is reliable, willing to learn and works well with others.
• Takes safety seriously. Experience using hand tools, soldering, connecting wiring or working on cars, machinery or hobby electronics would be helpful, but is not essential. A trade qualification is not required. Why join Truflo Pumps?
• Permanent, full-time work based in Bathurst.
• $38–$40 per hour.
• On-the-job training and support from experienced team members.
• Diverse, hands-on work with opportunities to build practical skills.
• The satisfaction of seeing equipment you helped build ready for our customers. Interested? Apply now Send us your resume. If your interest comes from hobbies or personal projects rather than paid work, tell us a little about what you enjoy working on—we’d love to hear about it.
