We are seeking a new hire due to consistent and substantial growth in our clients' Newcastle-based office. The practice is seeking a senior business services accountant. They are attuned to supporting the growth and interests of their employees and utilising the latest technology to improve the day-to-day workflow. They are seeking proactive, responsible individuals to join them in their relaxed and welcoming practice. The business is particularly motivated to promote employees to partner, if it interests them, with a generous partner scheme. Many previous hires have been through this process and accelerated to partner, carving out their own niche in the business, so much so there are now nine branches and over a dozen partners. Every day they provide excellent financial and business advice to their valued client base -forming an integral part of their businesses and lives. THE ROLE:
· Provide a range of consulting, business advisory, tax planning and tax compliance
· Direct relations with new and existing clients




· Preparation and review of Financial Accounts, Tax Returns for all Business, Individual and Superfund clients, Annual FBT and BAS returns
· Working closely and reporting directly to the Partners. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE CRITERIA:
· A completed CA or interest in pursuing CA will be well received;
· Fantastic communicator and listener with a "can-do" attitude
· Happy to work within a team and share the results of hard work
· Experience with XERO would be great;
· Solid Excel skills
· Positive, polite and enthusiastic personality
