Financial Controller – Hotels La Vie Hotels & Resorts

We're looking for an organised, curious Financial Controller to partner with our Australian hotels and work alongside our Group Director of Finance. Why you'll love this role:

What you'll do
• Managing month-end close, financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations across the hotel portfolio
• Preparing monthly forecasts, annual budgets and business plans
• Reviewing hotel performance, identifying variances and providing clear commentary and recommendations to General Managers
• Partnering with hotel leadership teams to improve profitability, payroll productivity and overall financial performance
• Working closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely financial processes




• Managing and supporting compliance requirements including GST, BAS, PAYG, Capex and internal financial controls
• Monitoring cash flow, working capital and hotel financial performance
• Ensuring financial reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with company and owner requirements
• Supporting the Group Director of Finance with portfolio reporting, analysis and strategic projects
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and finance processes as the business continues to grow. What you'll bring:
• CA or CPA qualified (or close to finishing)
• 3+ years in hospitality finance, ideally at hotel or cluster level
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise across multiple deadlines
• A sharp eye for detail and a knack for explaining numbers in plain English
• Confidence working with hotel teams and building outstanding relationships
