As the Investigations Officer (Intake and Referral) you will assess requests for investigations that are received. You will assist the Investigations team in the timely conduct of investigations. Key Responsibilities
• Communicate the Public Guardian's investigations functions and powers to clients.
• Provide information and advice to attorneys, guardians, administrators and informal decision makers.
• Support members of the public to refer matters of concern in a timely and appropriate way.
• Deliver intake and assessment processes to progress referrals for investigation in a timely manner.




• Communicate and maintain referral pathways.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders and team members, contributing to a multi-disciplinary workplace that behaves in an ethical, respectful and culturally sensitive manner. Qualifications And Conditions
• You must possess a C class driver's licence.
• The role requires travel throughout the State, including overnight stays, where necessary.
• A Certificate IV or Diploma in Government Investigations, or tertiary qualifications relating to investigations, social, health, behavioural sciences or related disciplines is desirable.
