DNA Events & Travel

Sydney

About DNA and the role DNA creates events that bring people together, with big ideas and care for every detail. We get to know our clients and their people to create something that feels unmistakably theirs. Reporting to one of the Directors, you will manage the travel that supports our events, alongside personalised client travel and internal staff bookings. Working closely with our event management and registration teams, you will coordinate domestic and international travel from initial enquiry through to return, including group bookings, ticketing, and pre
- and post-event extensions.

Key responsibilities
• Manage Sabre reservations and ticketing independently, including fare calculations, ticket issuance, reissues, amendments and cancellations.
• Monitor queues daily, action schedule changes and resolve travel disruptions promptly.
• Coordinate group flight bookings, passenger information and ticketing deadlines.
• Prepare quotations, flight comparisons and itineraries; book accommodation, transfers and extensions within client requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Work with the registration team to action delegate travel requests and maintain accurate information. Learn and use EventsAir for travel coordination and reporting.

• Provide event managers with flight costs, schedules, and arrival and departure information.
• Maintain strong client and supplier relationships, accurate travel records and clear communication. Track costs and support invoicing, reconciliation and post-event reporting.
• Keep current with airline conditions, supplier policies and destination requirements, and arrange corporate and staff travel in line with policies and budgets. Skills and experience
• Solid, current Sabre GDS and ticketing skills are essential, including international fares, complex itineraries, reissues and fare conditions.
• Willingness to learn and understand EventsAir is essential. Prior experience is welcome but not required.
• Demonstrated travel consulting experience, ideally in group, corporate or incentive travel. Large group booking and luxury leisure experience would be highly regarded.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and customer service; confidence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to prioritise competing deadlines, remain calm when plans change, and work independently and collaboratively.
