About the role
MSS Security is seeking Full-Time Reliever Security Officers to join our team across Monash University campuses. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.
• Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.
• Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
• Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.
• Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.
• Communicate calmly, clearly and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.​ Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid customer service skills and a professional presentation.
• A high level of fitness,



with the ability to walk up to 15–20 km per day.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working across multiple university campuses. Essential

Requirements:
• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid Victorian Security Licence.
• Unrestricted Victorian Driver Licence.
• Valid Employee Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them. Master License Number: 409-987-30S
