Gastronomy is seeking an experienced Corporate Hospitality Professional ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of meeting rooms, event spaces and client experiences within a corporate environment.

THE POSITION

This is a Full Time position (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with a combination of daytime and early evening shifts.

This hands-on role is integral to the success of the operation. Sitting at the intersection of events, catering, room coordination and client service, you will use your hospitality expertise to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and ensure every event runs flawlessly.

Duties will involve:

- Planning equipment, time and people to ensure we are set, ready for success

- The set-up of tables, chairs, linen, glassware, cutlery, and décor according to event orders

- Servicing events such as formal lunches, cocktail parties and plated dinners along with the daily service of teas and coffee to the meeting room floor

- Providing daily meeting room hospitality services, including tea, coffee and catering support.

THE PERSON

We are looking for a hospitality professional who thrives on creating beautiful experiences and exceeding customer expectations. You will be detail focused, proactive, have excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks at once – always with a smile.





You will have a high standard of personal presentation with a strong work ethic and a flexible, efficient approach.

You will have a welcoming personality, understand the importance of discretion and the ability to keep calm under pressure.

The ability to make barista style coffee is a bonus!

MINIMUM criteria to apply

- Full Australian working rights or an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa

- 2 + years' experience in banquets, corporate hospitality or events

- Current RSA certification

- Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills

- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure

- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

- Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety principles
