About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a short-term contract, based in Melbourne’s Inner Eastern suburbs.
This role will suit a hands-on Business Analyst with around 5 years of experience who is comfortable working across both project-related activities and business-as-usual (BAU) initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, support continuous improvement and help ensure day-to-day business needs are met.
The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
- Support project delivery activities as well as ongoing BAU requirements.
- Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare business requirements documents, process maps, user stories and functional specifications.
- Work collaboratively with business users, project teams and technical stakeholders.
- Assist with testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue resolution.




- Investigate business issues, assess impacts and help develop practical solutions.
- Support process enhancements, operational changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure requirements are clearly understood and documented.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Approximately 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Experience supporting both project delivery and BAU activities.
- Strong requirements-gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to analyse business processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- A adaptable and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
