Pindara Day Procedure Centre is a 3 Theatre complex that provides a wide range of day surgical procedures and is centrally located in Benowa on the campus of Pindara Private Hospital on the Gold Coast. The facility is a Joint Venture by our Surgeons and Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest private health operator, with a portfolio of over 100 hospitals in Australia, the UK, Indonesia and France.

While our atmosphere is relaxed our equipment and facilities are at the forefront of medical technology and practice. Our specialist services include: Ophthalmology, ENT, Pain Management, IVF and Gynaecology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial, Orthopaedics and Paediatrics over 1 year of age. Pindara Day Procedure Centre currently operates Monday through Friday.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Anaesthetic Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join the Pindara Day Procedure Centre on a permanent part-time basis (minimum 46 hours per fortnight). The successful applicant shifts will cover a 5-day rotating roster with no on-call.

The Position

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services / General Manager the successful applicant will provide high quality care to patients and clients, whilst also providing exceptional clinical and qualified support to other members of the multi-disciplinary patient care team. You will also work as a member of the clinical team to prepare the perioperative environment for the relevant procedure while liaising with and closely supporting the Anaesthetist in the provision of all aspects of the anaesthetic care.





The Person

You will have a strong commitment to customer service, display strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:

- Current AHPRA Registration

- Previous experience in anaesthetics and paediatric anaesthetic experience

- Recent Perioperative experience within an acute care setting

- Excellent work ethic and time management skills

- Ability to successfully work as a team member

- Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes
