How does spending the next six months in Lennox Head sound?
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join Icon and lead the final stages of a $50m education project, driving the project through close-out, completion and handover.
You’ll be stepping into an established project with a great site team already in place, taking the lead during an important stage of delivery and ensuring we finish the project strongly.
Based in Lennox Head, this is a great prospect for an experienced PM looking for a six-month assignment where they can make an immediate impact, work with a strong team and enjoy everything the Northern Rivers has to offer.
The role As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of the final stages of the project, including:
- Driving the programme through completion and handover
- Leading and supporting the existing site team
- Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships
- Coordinating subcontractors through final works and close-out
- Driving defects, commissioning and handover activities
- Maintaining oversight of commercial, programme, quality and delivery priorities
- Identifying and resolving outstanding risks and issues
- Ensuring the project is handed over to a high standard
About you We’re looking for someone who can come in, quickly understand the project and confidently lead the team through the final stretch.
You’ll ideally have:
- Project Manager experience with a head contractor
- Experience delivering projects of a similar scale and complexity
- Strong project close-out and handover experience
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to delivery
