Technology and Engineering is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to help shape the future of engineering education and research at UniSC. You'll play a key role in the design and delivery of our new postgraduate and established undergraduate programs, while contributing to a collaborative academic community with strong connections to industry and government. This is a chance to grow your own research agenda in an environment that values sustainability, innovation, and real-world impact. We’re looking for someone who brings industry insight, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to research that aligns with global challenges and opportunities.

You will:

- Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs;
- Grow your research profile through projects, publications, grants, and research supervision;
- Contribute to School and University life through governance, student-focused initiatives, and collaboration; and
- Build meaningful connections with industry and community to enhance learning, research and impact.

As a Senior Lecturer (Level C), you will also

- Provide academic leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and program coordination;




- Lead impactful research with a strong track record in publications, funding, and supervision;
- Shape the strategic direction of the School through leadership in governance and development; and
- Drive industry and community engagement to create broader opportunities for students and research.

- A doctoral qualification (or equivalent standing) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with a preference for expertise in areas such as advanced system design, energy or electromechanical systems.
- A passion for creating engaging learning experiences, contributing to course design and assessment, and supporting student success across both face-to-face and online modes.
