About Aster
Aster is a leading provider of energy, chemical, and infrastructure solutions in Southeast Asia, supplying products and services to a wide range of manufacturing industries across domestic and international markets. A Chandra Asri-led joint venture with Glencore, Aster builds on the robust industrial heritage of Chandra Asri Group, which has grown since its establishment in 1992 to become a trusted growth partner with strategically positioned assets across Indonesia and Singapore. The Group's integrated asset base includes a refinery with a capacity of more than 300,000 barrels per day, supported by ongoing asset rejuvenation initiatives; a 1.1 million metric ton naphtha cracker on Bukom Island; 2.5 million metric tons of downstream chemical assets on Jurong Island; and a 0.9 million metric ton naphtha cracker in Cilegon. These operations are underpinned by critical infrastructure assets, including energy, electricity, water, jetty, and tank farm facilities.
Following the acquisition of Chevron Phillips Singapore Chemicals (CPSC), Aster has further strengthened its chemicals portfolio and is now a regional leader in high-performance HDPE resins, serving applications such as food packaging and other essential industrial sectors. We are a mission-critical partner to customers across Australia and New Zealand, managing a time-sensitive supply chain to deliver high-quality products that meet the stringent safety and distribution standards of the Oceania market.
Together,
these capabilities position Aster to create sustainable value across the energy and chemicals value chain while supporting the evolving needs of customers throughout the region.
