We are looking forresponsible, self-motivated Nursery Hands to join our Dispatch Team. Certificate 3 in Horticulture or plant knowledge an advantage but not essential – training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selecting and picking plants for orders
- Potting, Pruning, staking, fertilizing and weeding plants
- Cleaning and blocking Nursery Beds
- Assist with irrigation, spraying and deliveries.
Key Attributes:
- Be fit and healthy (this is a physically demanding role)
- Willing to work as part of an all-weathers, outdoor Team environment
- Follows directions easily
- Positive verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with initiative to take action
- Eye for detail with plant maintenance and presentation
- Plant knowledge and experience with nursery machinery an advantage
- Own vehicle and drivers licence essential
