New to Industry Mechanical Tradesperson . This is a fantastic opportunity for those new to the industry to bring your current trade skills and experience to develop valuable skills employing these qualifications in a dynamic and challenging workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop your skills with other experienced tradespeople in maintaining and repairing mining equipment
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Develop competency working in the underground mining environment to allow you to work independently
Learn and apply industry-specific skills and techniques
Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of mining operations
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role you will have:
Certificate of proficiency (Mechanical Trade)
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
The ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safety and environmental regulations
Willingness to work shiftwork
Be willing, and able, to undertake an Order 43 Medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
Prior experience working on underground mining equipment would be advantageous for all trade holders.
Prior experience for mechanical trade holders working with fluid power systems, diesel engine systems and mobile plant would be advantageous.
