The opportunity is to progressively take the reins from the Directors and become responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the structural team.

Your responsibilities will include

Leading and developing the structural engineering team

Managing major structural projects from concept through delivery





Providing technical direction and design oversight

Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients

Becoming a senior point of contact for clients, architects and project stakeholders

Managing project resources, programmes and commercial outcomes

Mentoring Senior and intermediate Structural Engineers

Working closely with the Directors on the continued growth of the structures business

For the right person, there is a genuine progression opportunity from Team Leader into Associate Director and ultimately Director. You will be given increasing autonomy and responsibility rather than having to wait indefinitely for somebody above you to move on.

Ideally, you will bring

Strong Australian building structures consultancy experience

High-rise and/or large commercial project experience

Excellent reinforced concrete and structural steel design knowledge

Solid technical structural engineering capability

Experience leading engineers and managing multiple projects

Confidence dealing directly with clients and other consultants

Strong communication and commercial awareness

The ambition to ultimately lead a structures business
