About the Facility

Roshana Elsternwick Aged Care is a 45‑bed facility in Elsternwick, overlooking Hopetoun Park and close to shops, cafés, cinema and local churches. The purpose‑built home offers comfortable rooms, lounge areas, sensory space, gardens and barbecue area, with 24/7 nursing support. We are looking for a Cleaner to join our aged care team at Elsternwick, in a

part‑time

capacity.

About the Role

As a

Cleaner , you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your work directly supports the health, wellbeing, and dignity of those in our care. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where attention to detail and pride in your work make a real difference every day.

We would require the candidate to cover shifts for Monday to Friday 9:00am to 13:00pm.

What You Will Be Doing

Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning duties

Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are always met

Manage waste disposal and restocking of supplies

Support a safe, tidy,



and homely environment for residents and staff

Follow cleaning schedules and facility procedures

Work cooperatively with the broader care team

What You Will Bring

Previous cleaning experience (aged care, healthcare, or commercial cleaning preferred)

Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude

Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices (or willingness to learn)

A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
