Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NDIS Support Worker – Sydney (Identified Position) Tegrity Services is an Aboriginal-owned and led NDIS provider based in Revesby, delivering culturally safe support work and support coordination across Sydney. We started Tegrity because too many mob have had to explain themselves to a provider that doesn't understand culture, or have gone without support that feels safe. Our team understands culture, kinship, family and community because they live it.
Since 2021 we have supported more than 100 participants across South-West Sydney, the Inner West, the City and the Eastern Suburbs.
About the role We are looking for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support workers to join our team. You will work with a small, consistent group of participants, mostly Aboriginal, and you will see the same faces each week. Rosters are set a fortnight ahead so you know what is coming.
A typical week includes:
Supporting participants to get out into community, including our Wednesday Rec Group
Helping with daily living, appointments, shopping and household tasks
Building life skills and confidence at the participant's pace
Supporting participants to stay connected to culture, family and Country
Writing clear shift notes in our app at the end of each shift

Genuine care for people and a robust connection to community
Reliability. Our participants count on seeing the same workers every week
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them
First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain them
A driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
Experience in disability, aged care, youth work or community services is welcome but not essential. We train on the job.
