About the Role This part-time Veterinary Nurse position offers a consistent roster of 4 days per week, working:

Monday

Tuesday

Thursday

Friday

The ideal shift times are 8:15am – 5:15pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm, providing consistency and work-life balance while allowing you to become an integral part of our team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures

Pre-operative and post-operative patient care

Surgical preparation and theatre assistance

Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery

Performing pathology collection and diagnostic testing

Administering medications and treatments

Caring for hospitalised patients

Maintaining accurate patient records

Handling client enquiries professionally in person, via email, and over the phone

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control

Supporting the day-to-day operation of the clinic

This is a hands-on role where your skills, initiative, and ability to work collaboratively will be highly valued,



while providing the consistency of a regular weekly roster.

About You We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Has strong clinical veterinary nursing experience

Has a strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures

Is confident monitoring anaesthesia

Has outstanding communication and customer service abilities

Works well both independently and as part of a team

Brings a calm, friendly, and professional attitude

Enjoys working in a busy clinic environment

Has experience with RxWorks (highly regarded but not essential)
