We are looking for a Practice Nurse on a Permanent Part Time basis to join our Medical Practice. Our practice provides a friendly, versatile work environment with ongoing training support and opportunity for career development.
Key responsibilities
Wound care and dressings
Childhood immunisation
Cold chain management
Knowledge of travel vaccination
ECG's and spirometry
Assisting doctors with minor procedures
Coordinating the patient recall and reminder system
Implementing practice infection control and sterilization
Managing and ordering of clinical supplies
About you
Current unconditional registration with AHPRA
Registered Nurse or Medically endorsed Enrolled Nurse
Outstanding work ethic, organizational and time management skills
Experience in a fast-paced, multiple practitioner environment
Available to work all shifts between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday & Wednesday to Friday
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service
Demonstrable ability to be reliable, flexible and a team-player
Previous experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting desired
