The ATSICHS Family Wellbeing Services (FWS) program provides a coordinated and culturally safe support system for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families experiencing vulnerability. By offering a comprehensive mix of services tailored to family and community needs, we aim to build family capacity, strengthen community connections, and safeguard the wellbeing of children. At ATSICHS, through holistic case management, and collaboration with multiple service providers, FWS empowers families to navigate challenges, develop essential life skills, and access therapeutic support. The program also engages with families involved in the child protection system, working to address safety concerns, facilitate reunification and support positive outcomes for children and their families.

The Family Wellbeing Team Leader role is a front line-management role,

part of the Community Services leadership team. As a Team Leader at ATSICHS, we believe in leading teams through showing and doing, not delegating and micro-managing. We utilise a coaching approach to management that supports staff to achieve excellence with clients through side-by-side in-field mentoring and coaching, growing staff practice skills, professionalism, stakeholder influencing and personal organisation. As a leadership team, and front-line Team Leader, we are focused on client impact above anything else. Client impact in a manager role means we utilise data in a protected and supportive way to identify team case management quality, engage clients across the service to ensure our follow-through and client satisfaction, and proactively harness client feedback to make improvements as a team.

- Ensure staff facilitate FLDM meetings with broader family kin, gaining family consensus on their challenges and path forward.
