AAMG is seeking an experienced HV Electrician with heavy mobile equipment experience for an immediate start.

About the Role AAMG is currently seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join a leading mining operation in the Bowen Basin.

Working within the mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of high-voltage systems on heavy mobile mining equipment while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing faults across high-voltage electrical systems

Maintaining inverters, converters, traction motors, HV batteries and associated components

Carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections and breakdown repairs

Using diagnostic software and specialised testing equipment to identify and resolve faults

Completing testing and maintenance in line with OEM specifications and site requirements

Maintaining accurate maintenance records and complying with site safety procedures

About You - To be successful in this role, you will have:

Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualification

Current Queensland Electrical Licence





Current HV Switching qualification

Current CPR/LVR

Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical

Current Australian Driver's Licence

Proven HV electrical experience on heavy mobile mining equipment

Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience with CAT, Komatsu and/or Liebherr equipment will be highly regarded

A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
