About The Role
We are seeking a committed Christian Child Safe and Wellbeing Officer to join our ACC Victoria Online team on a permanent, full time basis.
This is a unique and pivotal role within a growing state-wide online school. You will be responsible for identifying and responding to wellbeing and child safety concerns, supporting staff and families, and contributing to systems that ensure students remain safe and connected despite learning remotely.
As a foundational member of a small and collaborative team, you will help shape the culture, systems and best practice approaches to student wellbeing at ACC Victoria Online. You will work closely with leadership, teaching staff and families across the state to ensure that students are well supported and that concerns are responded to promptly, appropriately and in line with College policy.
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Demonstrates a genuine Christian faith and commitment to the mission of ACC
- Is highly relational, yet able to operate within structured processes and policies
- Exercises sound judgement in complex situations
- Is confident working with families and external agencies
- Is able to learn and effectively use digital platforms to support student engagement and wellbeing
If you are passionate about supporting students, confident in navigating child safety responsibilities, and excited about shaping best practice in an online learning environment, we encourage you to apply.
Please note that all Victoria Online Staff are required to work onsite out of Casey Campus in Cranbourne South.
This full time role is expected to start as soon as possible.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for child safety and wellbeing concerns, providing advice and support to staff, students and families

- Monitor student engagement and wellbeing indicators (including attendance, communication and wellbeing data) to identify students at risk
- Coordinate and support Virtual Visits, including contributing to the assessment of the student's Place of Learning and follow-up actions where concerns are identified
- Implement targeted interventions for students of concern, which may include wellbeing plans, communication plans with families, and ongoing monitoring
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, leadership and external agencies to support student wellbeing and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely records of wellbeing concerns, actions and follow-up in the Student Information Syste
