About the role:
As a COPE Driver, you’ll work in a varied, hands‑on role that includes:
Sorting and loading your vehicle
Completing deliveries and pickups across Newcastle and surrounding areas
Ensuring correct packing and load restraint in our specialised trucks
Handling and delivering high‑value freight, including medical, retail, print and IT equipment
Working independently as a one‑out driver or as part of a team
What you will bring to this role:
Strong geographical knowledge of Newcastle and surrounding suburbs
A current Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher
A solid commitment to safety and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
Experience in transport, removals or sensitive freight is helpful
Forklift, white card or working‑at‑heights licences are desired but not essential
Self‑motivation, reliability and positive physical fitness
Sound judgement and a professional approach to customer service
