The hospital has a strong surgical presence on the Sunshine Coast, with multiple operating theatres and a busy caseload across Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Oral & Maxillofacial, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Pain Management and Oculoplastic Surgery.
The Chance
We're looking for an experienced Scrub Scout RN to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.
We’re particularly interested in nurses who enjoy the variety of theatre nursing and can confidently scrub across multiple specialties.
If you're someone who thrives on staying versatile,
enjoys supporting different surgeons and procedures, and likes the idea of continually expanding your skillset, you'll be highly valued within this team.
What you'll be doing
Scrubbing and scouting across a diverse surgical caseload
Supporting surgeons and theatre teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Working alongside experienced perioperative professionals
Building and maintaining solid relationships with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Contributing to a positive and collaborative theatre culture
We'd love to hear from you if you have
Current AHPRA registration + full working rights
1+ years post-graduate Scrub Scout experience
Strong clinical and communication skills
Experience across multiple specialties (highly regarded)
Ophthalmology experience (advantageous but not essential)
