Arambh Pty Ltd Arambh Pty Ltd, operator of Alatonero, is seeking experienced and motivated Cooks and Chefs across multiple levels to join its kitchen team. Opportunities are available for suitably experienced candidates across positions including Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, Commis Chef and Cook. The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience and the operational requirements of the kitchen.

These roles are suited to hospitality professionals who can prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard, work efficiently during busy service periods and contribute positively to a skilled kitchen environment. Prepare,



cook and present menu items in accordance with established recipes and kitchen standards
Undertake mise en place and ingredient preparation prior to service
Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, portion control and taste
Examine ingredients and food products to ensure quality and freshness
Operate ovens, grills, cooktops and other commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor cooking temperatures and preparation times
Prepare dishes for customers with special dietary requirements where required
Assist with menu preparation, seasonal dishes and specials
Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements to senior kitchen staff
Receive, rotate and correctly store food and ingredients
Minimise food wastage through appropriate storage, portion control and stock rotation
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen management and HACCP procedures
Comply with workplace health and safety requirements
