Thought Science Psychology Clinic is a warm, well-supported private practice on Sydney's North Shore, looking for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join as an independent contractor. This is an prospect to run your own practice with the backing of a supportive clinical team, while the clinic handles everything behind the scenes.
Key responsibilities
Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment to clients
Develop individualised treatment plans and review progress over time
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with qualified and Medicare requirements
Prepare correspondence to GPs and referrers as part of coordinated client care
Practise in accordance with AHPRA and the Psychology Board of Australia's standards
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist
Your own ABN and skilled indemnity insurance
Sound knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Warm, client-centred and collaborative,
with genuine care for good outcomes
Able to work independently while being a positive part of a small team
Per-session rates from $156 to $208, depending on session type and registration level
Full reception and administrative support, including all Medicare billing
Comfortable, fully equipped consulting rooms
Steady stream of referrals, with room to grow your caseload
Genuine flexibility - set your own schedule and choose the days that suit you
Access to a Board-Approved Supervisor on site, with supervision available at a discounted rate by arrangement
