About the Position
This locum orthopaedic registrar role gives you hands-on surgical experience in a regional public hospital. You will work within the surgical team at registrar level under consultant supervision, building the case mix that strengthens your surgical logbook and training profile. For a registrar who wants to broaden their orthopaedic experience before the next step, it is a practical and well-supported opportunity.
An hourly rate of $180 or more, alongside the development of your surgical skills
Hands-on surgical experience within an established orthopaedic team
Consultant supervision throughout the placement

Eligibility Criteria
Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner
Orthopaedic surgical training at registrar level, or working towards it
A commitment to developing surgical skills under supervision
Able to commit to the agreed locum period
