Jack and Jill Childcare Centre – Current Farm QLD

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our small, close-knit team at our family-owned and operated early learning service in inner-city Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to join our team on a maternity leave contract for approximately 12 months, with the potential for ongoing employment in 2028. We are looking for an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and who is passionate about creating engaging, meaningful and enriching learning experiences that inspire children to learn, grow and thrive.

Key responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging, child-centred learning programs
Deliver high-quality early childhood education
Create engaging, meaningful and enriching learning experiences that inspire children to learn, grow and thrive
Build positive relationships with colleagues, children and families
Respond to children's individual needs with care and empathy

Versatile, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification, or currently studying towards the relevant qualification
Previous experience working in an early childhood education setting
Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current Child Safety Training
