Direct Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Factory Worker/Forklift Operator to join a busy recycling and processing facility based in Banyo.

This is a hands-on role combining forklift operation with general factory, processing and production duties. We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a similar environment who is reliable, takes initiative and is comfortable working independently when required.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating forklifts to move materials and products around the site
Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
Sorting and processing materials
Working across production and processing areas
Operating machinery and basic equipment
Manual handling and general factory duties
Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
Assisting with day-to-day workflow and priorities as required

What We Need from You:




Previous factory, manufacturing, recycling or production experience
Current Forklift Licence with confident operating experience
Reliable, motivated and able to use your initiative
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on and repetitive work
Robust understanding of workplace safety
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
Full Australian working rights
