Degani Forest Lake is a newly opened café in Forest Lake, known for outstanding coffee, quality food, and friendly customer service. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team for an immediate start.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced environment, takes pride in producing excellent coffee, and thrives as part of a supportive team.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and serving high-quality coffee consistently throughout service
Taking customer orders and providing friendly, skilled service
Assisting with general café operations and maintaining a clean workspace
Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
Ensuring all drinks meet our high coffee and presentation standards
Supporting team members to deliver a smooth and efficient service
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Previous barista experience in a busy café environment
Strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and drink presentation
Ability to remain calm and efficient during peak service periods
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high coffee standards
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Full working rights in Australia
