Ref: ****** Specialist/Palliative Care Medicine Northern NSW A regional referral Level 5 base hospital providing a range of healthcare services including: acute and emergency care, surgical services, women's care and newborn services, intensive and coronary care units, Mental Health inpatient facilities, Aboriginal Health, and Allied Health Outpatient Clinics.
The service operates across the community and hospital settings, providing specialist palliative care to inpatients, outpatients and community-based patients and their families across the district.
The role covered by this locum is based at TVH with a community and MDH or Tweed Community focus on Tuesdays.
Phone on-call (for phone support of palliative patients from the hospitals, not community) on Wednesdays after hours 5pm until 8am the next day – district wide on-call.
