About the role

France Soir is a busy French restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne, open midday to midnight daily.

Restaurant Manager duties:
Making reservations, planning and arranging special requirements
Greeting guests upon arrival
Training and managing trade waiters
assisting the trade waiters throughout service
Ensuring smooth communication between back and front of house staff
Managing stock levels for front of house (alcohol, condiments, linen, cutlery, crockery, stationary etc)




Handling any complaints or special requests from customers
Ensuring compliance health regulations and occupational health and safety
Must possess a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, opening & closing shifts

About you

You’ll be an experienced restaurant manager with at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role, ideally, in France or Europe in a fast-paced and high-end French restaurant.

The ideal candidate will be French-speaking, with experience working with French cuisine.

Annual guaranteed earnings between $79,000 - $85,000 plus super.
