IFTAR is seeking an experienced Barista to join our team at our café in Merrylands, NSW. This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and crafting exceptional coffee beverages for our valued patrons.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beveragesand specialty drinks
Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all coffee products
Maintaining a clean and well-organised work station
Advising customers on coffee options and making recommendations based on their preferences
Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
Adhering to all food safety and health regulations
Providing excellent customer service and a positive dining experience

What we're looking for
At least 2 years of experience as a Barista in a café or restaurant setting




Demonstrated expertise in operating coffee machines and preparing a variety of coffee drinks
Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and welcoming experience
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of coffee bean varieties, roasting techniques, and brewing methods
Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for creating exceptional coffee experiences
